Stone Creek Floodplain Mapping Project

The Stakeholders Group consists of properties within Eagle-Vail that fall under one of the following categories:

• The property is crossed or adjacent to the existing Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA).
• The property is crossed or adjacent to Stone Creek, Stone Creek Bypass, Golf Club Creek, or another potential flooding source. (See the Reach Map for more information.)
• The property is in an area or adjacent to an area that may be affected by a proposed SHFA.
• The property is in an area or adjacent to an area that may be affected by a proposed Shaded Zone X.

In addition to the above mentioned properties, anyone from the public may join the Stakeholder Group.

Over 300 letters were mailed out on May 28-29 announcing the upcoming meeting. All are welcome to attend, as is the general public.
