 The LOMR Determination Document has been issued. This document is the official document from FEMA that will set the effective date for the LOMR, that date being June 04, 2010.
See the LOMR Documents page here for more information. A public information meeting will be scheduled in the near future (Late January/Early February 2010) at the Eagle-Vail Pavilion. Meeting information and attachments will be posted on the website when available. |

In early 2008, several concerned citizens contacted the County for assistance with floodplain questions along Stone Creek. The original mapping effort for Stone Creek was performed in the early 1980's, and was not accurate in regards to the location of the Eagle-Vail Subdivision. Specifically, there are areas of Elk Lane, Deer Boulevard, and other areas that are shown to be within the regulatory floodplain. In these areas, the regulatory floodplain is completely outside of Stone Creek and Golf Club Creek. |

This website will serve as a portal for the Stone Creek Floodplain Mapping project. The mapping project consists of a joint effort of the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB), Eagle County (EC), Eagle-Vail Metropolitan District (EVMD), Eagle-Vail Property Owner's Association (EVPOA), and a group of concerned Eagle-Vail citizens that are working with the County to remap the flood delineation along Stone Creek.
